Fishing for bass in Lake Ariana
My friend Jose Lopez and I went to do some fishing for bass in Lake Ariana yesterday. We fished for some bass. The day started out slow due to a big moon. After fishing till noon with only one fish of about 1.5lbs. We went to the East side of the lake. @Country boys fishing in the near future for fishing videos
The frog bite never materialized. So we switched over to a Zoom 7″ Junebug trick worm rigged Texas style. After I caught one about 2lbs Jose caught a 21″ 4lber. I guess the fish turned on and we caught two more about 2lbs then it slowed down.
We moved up the bank and didn’t do much. So after some refreshments we went back to the spot and I caught a 21″ 4lb bass also. Then I caught two more 2lb fish and that did it for us.Stay tuned for more fishing trips and check out the video on you tube .
Because I used to live in Auburndale,Fl. this lake has been one of my favorite lakes to fish. It’s not a huge lake by any means but it has a good bass population. The water level has risen in the past years to a good level.
I typically use a C-tail plastic worm or a Scorpion Swim jig. Frogs are also a good choice. Just work them thru the grass or over the eel grass beds very effective. The lake has a good amount of deep holes in it which makes for good summer time fishing. In the summer it gets pretty hot down here so deep holes help.
So try to find these smaller sleeper lakes as I call them. It will help you find more and bigger fish.
