Bass fishing has come to a stop

Due to a broken left foot and business commitments I have not been on the water much.

When I get healed up you can bet. I will be headed to the water for some much needed therapy. I would like to say that fall will start to increase the jig bite for bass.Bass fishing using artificials in our lakes and rivers will be at it’s best..I want to get back and start using the Scorpion Swim jigs for bass.Fall will also start the feeding binges on saltwater fishing.Fish like the snook, redfish, and seatrout will start feeding for the winter. They will be feeding on greenbacks, shrimp, pinfish.

Before the cold fronts start coming in. The greenbacks will still be availible.Chumming and castnetting is the most efficient way to get greenbacks in your live well.If you are new to this just get info at your local bait shop. But you can purchase live shrimp which work great in fall and winter.Pinfish are availible sometimes also depends on the bait store you go to.After a little bass fishing I’m going to SW Fl. and do some snooking.

Fall starts the migration of the winter species such as pompano, flounder, spanish mackeral, sheepshead, and bluefish. These make good table fare especially pompano and flounder.Snook will start their yearly migration to the backwaters and rivers and canal systems. They will spend most of the winter in these spots till spring warms the water.

Well I guess I better prop my foot up and get some rest.See ya on the water soon.Be sure to use CBTB popping corks next time.
